The S3 Berkshire

This historic locomotive will be the next US prototype live steam locomotive manufactured by Aster Hobby Co. Inc. of Yokohama Japan. The expected release date will be in spring 2005. The NKP 779 will be produced in  limited quantity. It will feature alcohol firing, exchangeable alcohol tank in tender, equalized main suspension, blow down valve, tender and axle pump, sufficient cab space for RC servo installation etc. The locomotive / tender will also be available in unlettered version by pre reservation only.
